Orientation & Training

Overview

The library offers training in the use of library information products, tools, and services. Instruction is offered at no cost to state employees, and customized training is developed to fit your particular group's needs and time-frame. Schedule a time to come visit the library, or attend a session virtually, to learn about our resources and services.

You will receive either one-on-one assistance or small group demonstrations of databases or products, made available to all state employees, as well as orientations which cover the variety of roles the State Library plays and how you and your agency can benefit from our assistance. Contact Sarah Tenfelde-Dubois, Director of Reference Services, for more information or fill out this training request form. We look forward to helping you.

A list of training DVDS, plus a list of handouts that highlight State Library resources, and archived training webinars is available on our Available Training for State Employees page .
